Our Ruthida Crafts plush stuffed animals are uniquely designed and hand-crafed in-house. Unlike your every-day stuffed animals that are mass manufactured by sewing pieces of fabric together, each Ruthida Crafts piece is meticulously crafted, starting with nothing other than a strand of yarn and a crochet hook, then built up stitch by stitch using the crochet technique to create a unique stuffed animal. Our customers and admirers have been gracious with their compliments towards our “cute” stuffed animals and their “neat stitches”, and for that, we are truly grateful.

Ruthida Kajumba, apart from being the Founder of Ruthida Crafts, she is also the Author of the book called ARE YOU PURSUING AUTHENTIC SUCCESS? She is also an ICF (International Coach Federation) certified Professional Transformation Coach. She focuses on Authentic Success. Her work can be found at her website: www.ruthidakajumba.com.
As a crocheter, Ruthida started crocheting at 6 years old. She also knitted, weaved baskets and mats at that tender age. She continued to crochet through out school and stopped when she went to univerisity, until recently when she had a constant nagging feeling deep within her that she was wasting her God-given talent. She prayed about it and one day it occured to her – the answer was crochet. She has not looked back since. From the day she started crocheting, deep within her she knew she wanted to spread joy with her work. And hence the Ruthida Crafts mission: Spreading joy, not just to children but as well as to adults who are still young at heart!
